I remember years ago reading something that the late Isaac
Asimov wrote that involved traveling. In it, he explained that he doesn't like
to travel because he finds the imaginary worlds in science fiction (SF) more
interesting than traveling to places on Earth. I partly agree with him,
but on the other hand, I partly don't agree with him.I do like to travel, and
I've been overseas eight times, and traveled through different parts of the USA and Canada . Anybody who reads my
publications on my website will know that. But I also like to go to SF
conventions (cons) and similar events because I do like the imagined worlds in
SF and what may (or may not) happen in the future. I suppose if I gave up
the SF cons I could afford to go to a lot more places, especially overseas. And
if I didn't do regular trips, I could afford to go to a lot more SF cons and
related events. Nevertheless, I did what I did and that's that! Feel free to
check out my publications on my web site:http://lp_web4us.tripod.com/ .
